Infinite Hotel

Art direction + Props + Graphics

This project presented me with a wide range of creative challenges. We had to build a subway station on a stage, a moving set with boxes and a street sweeper all in one place. I also created all the printed graphics on stage such as posters, stickers, and custom magazine covers for each actor. I learned a lot about theater and the beauty of its process, production and transformation on people.

Rock music and Rube-Goldberg- cinematography collide in a cathartic and inventive music-theatre experience. The Infinite Hotel invites live audiences to become ‘extras’ and step inside an elaborate movie-making machine, producing a one-take feature film together every night. Refreshingly honest, the film’s narrative follows five strangers unknowingly writing music together across space and time, and questions the nature of human interrelatedness, our appetite for visibility, and the creative ideas we accidentally share.

Dissonance

Dissonance is an art house sci-fi short set in 1990s New York City, which follows a group of queer punks/misanthropes living in the city. After breaking into an abandoned warehouse, Leti and her best friend, Rio, discover a room where dreams are recorded on VHS tapes. Leti, the matriarch of the group, realizes unknown needs and desires through these dreams.
